Southwest Regionals

Qualified for the Southwest Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition regionals with the Baylor team. In CCDC you keep a small business network running while a red team tries to break in, so it's as much sysadmin work as it is security.

NCL · Fall 2024

Team Captain, Top 50

Captained Baylor's second team to a Top 50 finish out of 4,500+ teams. Individually I placed 420th of 8,487 that season, and 23rd of 7,010 by Spring 2026.

Hivestorm · 2024

39th of 413 teams

Four-person cyber defense simulation: hardening Windows and Linux systems, vulnerability scanning, and patch management against the clock. We finished as Baylor's top team on our first try.

CTF-Tools

Custom wordlist generators I wrote during a competition when the standard dictionaries weren't cutting it. They scrape structured sources like Wikipedia tables and Goodreads lists and turn them into targeted cracking wordlists in seconds.

It started in an NCL password-cracking round. I'm growing it into a broader kit, with log-analysis and web-exploitation helpers next.

Red-Black Tree Visualizer

A C++/SDL program that animates every insert, delete, and lookup in a red-black tree. It shows the recolorings and all four rotation cases step by step as the tree rebalances, and the layout reflows so nodes don't overlap.

Came with a written report and presentation on the balancing rules.

Consumer devices, custom firmware

Jailbroke a Nintendo Switch, Kindle, and a few Android devices using bootloader exploits, custom payloads, and replacement firmware to get low-level access past the vendor restrictions. All my own hardware, mostly done for fun and to understand how the protections work.

Experience and leadership

Infrastructure & Network Cybersecurity Intern · Fannie Mae

June 2026 to present · Reston, VA · hybrid

I work on the infrastructure security team at Fannie Mae. Day to day that's endpoint protection with CrowdStrike Falcon, firewall compliance audits, and change management through the enterprise CAB process.

I wrote a Python script that automates firewall drift detection, and built another Python tool against the Palo Alto Panorama API to speed up diagnostics. I also work across ZScaler access policy and some SOAR automation.

2026 to present

President · Cyber at Baylor

I run Baylor's cybersecurity club, after a year as Events Chair where we grew active membership about 40% and Instagram about 32%. I plan the semester, line up speakers and sponsors, put together competition teams, and run hands-on workshops.
